Through serving others we serve the Lord. He has given us the privilege of being active in the work of growing His Kingdom here on earth. Serving in a local fellowship of believers is an opportunity to share our appreciation with Jesus for what He has done to give us eternal life. Serving is also a tool that God will use to mature us in our faith so that we can stand against the difficulties life throws at us. As we serve in ministry we take the blessing our Lord has given to us and we become a blessing to others in Jesus' name. As people serve each other and care for one another's needs the body of believers grows stronger and becomes better equipped to help additional people come to faith and grow in relationship with Jesus Christ.
